About or Prints and Frames
We are proud to be the official printer and framer for the New York Public Library.
Our first printmaking studio was in California in 1963 where we specialized in serigraphs, lithographs and etchings. We set up our Swiss studio in Lugano on the Italian frontier to serve our highest quality customers like the New York Public Library.
Each image from the NYPL is reviewed individually and printed one at a time without compromise. If requested we can remove the photo album background or other artifacts which may deter from the original image. In all case we strive to achieve what the photographer intended in our custom printing process.
Our master printer Sabine, framemaker Jo, Miguel, Tiziano and myself, Richard Weedn are here to serve you.
We print exclusively on Canon's highest quality art printers using up to 12 colors on each print. We use very high quality paper of cotton and traditional paper making materials matched to our printers. Archival ink is used on all giclee prints.
Our Premium Museum Frames are made here in Switzerland using a contemporary black alloy moulding and double hand cut mat boards, acrylic glazing and archival backing. These arrive in a special box made exclusively for us.
Our Stretched Canvas is hand made here and hand coated for UV protection. This is best in industry canvas.
We can custom print images to special custom sizes if your project requires special treatments. Please inquire for custom pricing and timing. We supply decorators at a volume discounts and our framed archival prints and stretched canvases are hanging in executive offices, homes and hotels around the world.
